Arena Club - Creating a better card grading experience

I specialize in SaaS/Enterprise Software Design for both B2B and B2C companies. Designed products for over 200 million users and generated billions of dollars in revenue.

Problem
Arena Club is a card grading, trading, and NFT platform founded by tech mogul Brian Lee and New York Yankee champion Derek Jeter. They needed someone to come in and design some screens for the process of uploading your trading cards to their server and getting them graded after shipping to their secure facility.

Step 1 - Personal Info

We made this experience in just three quick steps with a minimal amount of clicks.

In this first step, you'll enter your personal info and card info, such as the Declared value of the card and the shipping method to send Arena Club your card to be graded.
Step 2 - Upload Photo

You'll upload all of the cards you'd wish to have graded (Front and Back)
Final Step - Payment

In this final step, you'll select your payment type and enter your card information.

Solution
I started by conducting user research to understand the needs of Arena Club's users. I interviewed a variety of users, including collectors, traders, and investors. I also looked at the competition and analyzed their user flows.
Based on my research, I developed a set of user flows for the upload and grading process. I also created wireframes and prototypes to test my designs with users.

After several rounds of user testing, I finalized the designs and implemented them in Figma. I also created a design system for Arena Club that would be used for all future designs.

Results
The new designs were well-received by users. They found the process of uploading and grading their cards to be easy and straightforward. The new designs also helped to improve the overall user experience of Arena Club.

Conclusion
I was able to successfully design and implement a new user flow for the upload and grading process at Arena Club. The new designs were well-received by users and helped to improve the overall user experience of the platform.
