As a UX designer entering 2025, I think it's inevitable that I will understand AI and learn how to use it in my workflow.
Here's my game plan for the next few months: I will do my due diligence to ensure I'm learning AI.
- I'll schedule coffee meetings with those in my network who are ahead of me regarding AI and learn from them.
- I'll attend meetups and webinars.
- I'll read blogs on upcoming tools and AI news in general.
- I'll practice prompt engineering to get better results for my UX research and other aspects of my job.
- I'll maybe learn AI tools like Claude and Cursor to turn my designs into prototypes.
I don't want to be the UX Designer who didn't take AI seriously and pays for it later on when I may be looking for a new job sometime in the future. I'll take action now and maybe discover new ways I can do my job quicker and more efficiently
