Wells Fargo Vantage

Building a new platform for businesses to bank better with Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo's Vantage is a new digital banking platform designed to provide customers with a more personalized and intuitive banking experience. It was launched in 2022 and has been well-received by customers, with many praising its ease of use and wide range of features.

I was a Senior Lead Product Design contractor on the Vantage team and was responsible for the design of the platform's core features. My work included working closely with project managers, design managers, stakeholders, and the research team to understand the business goals and needs of our enterprise clients. I also had to anticipate what needed to be designed and execute pixel-perfect designs, utilizing our current design system while also adding new components and variants in our tool of choice, Figma.

My Role


Challenges

One of the biggest challenges I faced was working with a large and complex team. There were many different stakeholders with different needs and priorities, and it was important to be able to balance all of these needs while still delivering a high-quality product.

Another challenge was working with a tight deadline. The platform had to be launched on time and within budget, so there was no room for error.


Solutions


The Vantage platform was a success. It was launched on time and within budget and has been well-received by customers. The platform has also been successful in terms of business metrics, with Wells Fargo reporting that it has seen a significant increase in customer engagement since the launch of Vantage.

Conclusion

I am proud of the work I contributed to the Vantage project. The platform has been a success and has helped Wells Fargo improve its customer experience. I am confident that it will continue to be a valuable asset to Wells Fargo for many years to come.
